About this blog

This is a window into the weird world of Anglicanism, as experienced on a Cathedral Close. Has anything much happened since Trollope's Barchester Chronicles? You will still see the 'canon in residence' hurrying across to choral Evensong, robes flapping, as the late bell chimes. But look carefully and you will notice he is checking the football score on his iPhone as he runs. This is also a writer's blog. It charts the agony and ecstasy of the novelist's life. And it's a fighter's blog. It charts the agony and ecstasy of the judo mat. Well, the agony, anyway.

CHAPTER 17

Men and Women in Marriage.  What they made of the Faith and Order Commission's report in the Diocese of Lindchester.  And a spot of creative lawn-mowing.  http://catherine-fox-novel.blogspot.co.uk/

  1. Hi Catherine. As I said over on the other blog I am delighted to have found your blogs, mostly because I have enjoyed your books, but also because I have just discovered that you were in Lichfield. I have been trawling through your Lichfield posts (feeling like a stalker!) because I grew up in Lichfield and went to the Friary School back in the day when it was a Girls Grammar School and housed in what is now the library. Thanks for some serious nostalgia!
